Krabat, a stray war orphan finds shelter with eleven millers and their Master. Strict rules, dark practices, black magic: all this one can handle as long as one is not hungry and one’s bed is dry. But Krabat gets closer, too close to the Dark Master. Will he be able to break the power of black magic? A famous Sorbian mystical story touches our hearts: with piercing clarity, strength of image, theatrical humour and a minimum of words it tells us about hard times, human falls and the power of the first love. Gloomily, daringly and at the same time very lightly. The emotional merry-go-round whirling surrounded by grand musical landscapes. Expressive acting is accompanied by live music performed by a German instrumentalist and composer Charlotte Wilde. Christiane Zanger, Michael Vogel, Florian Feisel, Paweł Chomczyk and Dagmara Sowa – cooperation of these artists allows us to expect new discoveries in the area of theatre plastic art.
